Driver and Passenger Injured Ventura DUI Crash at Victoria and Olivas Park
VENTURA (July 30, 2018) – A passenger was hospitalized after an alleged DUI solo-car crash in the area of South Victoria Avenue and Olivas Park Drive early Monday, according to Ventura County Star.
The accident took place shortly before 2:25 a.m.
As per the article, Ventura police said a vehicle slammed into a traffic signal near the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Olivas Park Drive.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the legs of the driver, a 38-year-old man, trapped under the dashboard of the car.
The man was freed from the wreckage and was taken to a local trauma center with major injuries. His passenger was also hospitalized for evaluation.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old motorist was reportedly arrested on suspicion of DUI but released from custody due to his extensive injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
