1 Killed, 2 Injured in Ventura Crash Near Harbor Boulevard and Sanjon Road
VENTURA, CA (April 23, 2021) – A head-on crash killed one person and injured two others near Harbor Boulevard and Sanjon Road in Ventura.
According to The Ventura County Star and KVTA News, the tragic accident occurred late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:14 p.m. near Highway 101.
Police said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of East Harbor Boulevard and Sanjon Road in Ventura.

At least one occupant ended up trapped in the wreckage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and pronounced a motorist involved dead at the scene.
The other driver sustained serious injuries while a passenger suffered minor wounds as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed them to a local hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials shut down Harbor Boulevard in both directions, west of Sanjon Road, for several hours following the crash.
The cause of the fatal Ventura collision is still under investigation.
