Highway 150 motorcycle crash Ventura October 29VENTURA, California (October 31, 2016) – A fatal motorcycle collision took place Saturday afternoon on Highway 150, also known as Casitas Pass Road, according to KEYT.

The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. on eastbound Highway 150, west of Wiggy Ranch.

As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a 26-year-old man from Euclid, Ohio was riding a rented 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a passenger, Michael Yager, 26, of Houston.

The motorcycle swerved off to the right side and collided with a guardrail. Both men were thrown from the bike.

Yager hit the guardrail directly while the motorcycle rolled over an embankment and into the bushes.

CHP affirmed Yager was initially taken to a nearby Berry Farm where he was to be flown to a hospital, however, he sadly did not survive and died of his injuries.

The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
