The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. on eastbound Highway 150, west of Wiggy Ranch.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a 26-year-old man from Euclid, Ohio was riding a rented 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a passenger, Michael Yager, 26, of Houston.
The motorcycle swerved off to the right side and collided with a guardrail. Both men were thrown from the bike.
Yager hit the guardrail directly while the motorcycle rolled over an embankment and into the bushes.
CHP affirmed Yager was initially taken to a nearby Berry Farm where he was to be flown to a hospital, however, he sadly did not survive and died of his injuries.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
