Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Collision on El Camino Real Tuesday
Ventura, CA (September 28, 2021) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on U.S. Route Highway 101, also known as El Camino Real, early Tuesday.
According to On Scene TV, a motorist called the authorities around 12:30 a.m. stating they struck an unknown object along the southbound side of the highway in Ventura.

Emergency crews responded to the area near California Street. After checking the perimeter, officers discovered a body lying near the center divider of El Camino Real. Paramedics sadly pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, detectives said they continue to work to determine whether the reporting party was the first to strike the victim with their vehicle. Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian on Highway 101 is ongoing.
