VENTURA (June 13, 2016)- Per the Santa Clarita Valley Signal, a malicious fatal 2-car wrong way crash occurred Sunday morning on Telegraph Road also known as Highway 126.
The article read that the crash was logged at 1:30 a.m. when a 35-year-old Los Angeles man driving a Kia Optima proceeded to drive within eastbound lanes rather than westbound lanes. A short while later, the Kia driver slammed head-on into a Toyota Camry traveling eastbound occupied by two.
The collision resulted in tragedy as both the driver a passenger of the Toyota suffered fatal injuries. The victims are only being identified as a 31-year-old and a 52-year-old.
The 35-year-old Los Angeles man also did not survive as he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials from the Moorpark division are handling the incident.
More information will be revealed pending the investigation.
