VENTURA: Head-on Car Crash Highway 33 at Barbara Street

VENTURA, California (July 22, 2014) — Three people suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning in a head-on car accident on State Route Highway 33 at Barbara Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a silver Jeep SUV and a silver Honda Pilot collided and were blocking lanes on the highway. Police said airbags were deployed and called for the Ventura County Fire Department to respond for minor injuries.

Two of the people hurt were taken to hospital to have treatment for their minor injuries.
