2 Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 33 Sunday
Ventura, CA (October 5, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle occurred on State Route Highway 33 on October 3, Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcycle with two riders crashed while traveling in the southbound side of the highway. The incident took place near Main Street in Ventura.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 2:35 p.m. First responders found at the scene a passenger vehicle stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. However, it remained unclear if that car contributed to the wreck.

Paramedics said they rendered aid to the two parties riding the motorbike. After attending to the victims, officials mentioned the driver and passenger both sustained minor injuries. An ambulance reportedly transported the two patients to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Additional details on the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the motorcycle accident on State Route Highway 33 happened.
