Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ventura Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
VENTURA, CA (July 15, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:30 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Ventura. The two crashed on Pacific Coast Highway, north of the Emma Wood State Beach.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of an open wound to their leg. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Pacific Coast Highway near Emma Wood to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Ventura crash.
