Major Injury Collision on SR-126 in Ventura
VENTURA, Calif. (Dec. 24, 2024) — A major injury rollover crash happened Tuesday morning in Ventura on Highway 126, just west of Kimball Road.
The solo-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of SR-126 around 7:23 a.m. on Dec. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP deputies and the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene. The vehicle was found overturned on its roof in traffic lanes. No one had exited the vehicle upon their arrival, but they assisted at least one person with major injuries. CHP officials did not mention how many people were in the vehicle.
All lanes of the roadway were blocked by the vehicle and emergency responders.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on state Route 126 in Ventura.
