Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Motorcyclist on Figueroa Street Saturday
Vermont Vista, CA (April 10, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident on Figueroa Street Saturday morning, according to My News LA.
The news article indicated a motorcyclist traveling north on Figueroa Street struck the pedestrian.
Shortly after 12:25 a.m., emergency crews responded to the crash site near 88th Street in Vermont Vista. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the person found lying on the roadway. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Authorities added the motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries in the collision. An ambulance transported the patient to a hospital in critical condition.
