Major Injury Collision on West Side (5) Freeway Monday
Vernalis, CA (June 21, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on Interstate 5 early Monday morning.
Initial records indicated a solo-vehicle crashed in the southbound side of Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway, in Vernalis. At the moment, the make and model of the automobile involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.
The CHP log mentioned the car overturned near Howard Road offramp, but eventually landed on its wheels.

Shortly after 1:50 a.m., medical personnel arrived a the crash site. Paramedics reportedly checked the conditions of all parties involved in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries from the incident.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Vernalis have not been discussed thus far. Given that, investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the crash.
