Man in Wheelchair Killed in Crash in North Highlands
NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — Vernon Earl Foeller, 58, died early Saturday when a driver struck him at Watt Avenue and Roseville Road in North Highlands.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the man was in a wheelchair when a driver in a vehicle struck him at the intersection in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol reported the driver was a man in his 40s who stopped and cooperated with the traffic accident investigation.
There are no indications that alcohol and or drugs were a factor, according to CHP.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in the crash as 58-year-old Vernon Foeller.
