Man Struck by Car on Feb. 10th Dies at Hospital
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Feb. 22, 2024) — Victor Siqueiros, 89, died Tuesday at the hospital from his injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident on Feb. 10th in San Jose on Story Road at Galahad Avenue.
The collision occurred at around 12:15 p.m. at the San Jose intersection, according to NBC Bay Area News.
The man, who was identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office, was reportedly walking across Story Road in a northbound direction within the east crosswalk, police said. Authorities reported he was walking against a red light.
An oncoming white 2015 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Story Road and entered the intersection on a green light, police said.
Victor Siqueiros was transported by ambulance to a hospital due to major injuries. However, he later died at the hospital on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
