The collision that injured another pedestrian took place about 11:07 p.m., south of Sycamore Street.
As per the article, a statement released by San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said Victoria Orrantia was walking on Oakwood Avenue when she was hit by a silver 2002 Saturn sedan
The Victorville woman was then transported to Desert Valley Hospital where she later died.
A man who was walking next to Orrantita on a dirt shoulder was struck by the shopping cart. He was taken to St. Joseph Health, St. Mary’s with laceration to his head.
Meanwhile, The driver of the Saturn stayed at the scene and was unharmed. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
