Drivers Hit Pedestrian on San Bernardino Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — Victorino Pimental Vasquez, 47, of Riverside, died last Thursday in a pedestrian accident on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway in San Bernardino.
The deadly crash occurred around 8:12 p.m. on Thursday, July 27th, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to the freeway at the Waterman Avenue off ramp in San Bernardino. They located the woman after she was struck by more than one vehicle. It’s unknown if any of the motorists stopped after the collision.
Unfortunately, Victorino Pimental Vasquez was pronounced deceased at the scene at 8:42 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
An investigation into what happened is underway by the California Highway Patrol.
Meanwhile, witnesses should contact police to help them with the case.
