VICTORVILLE, California (January 6, 2014)- Three adults were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a collision between the drivers of a Victor Elementary school bus carrying special needs children and a Honda Accord at the intersection of Palmdale and Cobalt roads, according to the Victor Valley News.
None of the five children aboard the bus at the time of the crash were injured.
The crash was reported at 10:45 a.m. Police told the newspaper that the bus was heading to Lucy Seacrest in Hesperia when it collided with the driver of the Honda Accord.
Paramedics responded to transport the driver of the Honda, the bus driver and a faculty aide who was riding on the bus with the children. They were all taken to nearby hospitals where they were treated for undisclosed injuries.
A police investigation will determine liability.
“Hopefully these children are all checked out to ensure they were not hurt,” said Attorney James Johnson.
