VICTORVILLE, California (October 24, 2016) – According to an article by VVNG, one person sustained injuries following a school bus crash on Amargosa Road Monday Morning.
Just north of Luna Road, a collision between a Victor Elementary School bus and a 2006 Honda Civic took place at around 9:20 a.m.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus at the time of the incident.
Emergency crews that responded to the site found the Honda driver disoriented. Due to his condition, the Honda driver was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, the female bus driver was unharmed.
Initial reports mentioned the school bus’ natural gas-powered engine had a gas leak and may have contributed to the collision.
Further investigation is ongoing.
