Two Women Injured in T-Bone Crash on Amargosa Road
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2024) — A Victorville car accident at Amargosa Road and Smoke Tree Road left two women injured including one with major injuries.
The T-bone crash occurred at 9:45 a.m. on Sept. 3rd at the Victorville intersection, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The drivers of a white Volkswagen Jetta and a black Toyota Scion TC were involved.
Paramedics from the Victorville City Fire Department responded and located the female driver from the Scion trapped in the wreckage. They extricated the woman and requested a helicopter to airlift her to a Arrowhead Regional Medical Center due to major injuries.
Meanwhile, the female driver of the Volkswagen was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Police closed down Amargosa Road in both directions for roughly two hours due to the investigation and cleanup of the crash scene.
The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation into the accident on Amargosa Road.
