Woman Critically Injured in Crash at Victorville Intersection
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (May 3, 2026) — A woman was suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle car accident Sunday morning at Eleventh Avenue and Cypress Avenue in Victorville.
The traffic accident occurred at 9 a.m. on May 31, 2026 between the drivers of a dark gray 2007 Honda Accord and a gray Toyota Tundra. The vehicles collided in the southbound No. 1 lane of Eleventh Avenue at Cypress Avenue.
The driver’s side of the Honda Accord was badly damaged and the vehicle went off the roadway, knocked over a chain-link fence, and came to a stop on the front yard of a nearby home.
The Victorville Police Station and Victorville Fire Department responded along with an ambulance to help those involved.
The emergency crews came to the aid of a Victorville woman who was trapped inside the damaged Honda. Using hydraulic rescue tools, firefighters managed to extricate her from the wreckage. The unidentified woman was then taken to a hospital and airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries.
Meanwhile, the Victorville man driving the Toyota Tundra pickup truck spoke with investigators.
The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team spent several hours piecing together what happened.
