2 Injured in Victorville Car and Big Rig Crash on Highway 395
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 7, 2023) – Two were injured after a big rig crash on Highway 395 near Mojave Drive in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers responded to the wreck on February 7 at around 7:18 p.m.
The incident happened when a dark-colored Toyota Camry and a big rig collided for an unknown reason in the city of Victorville.
The two crashed on northbound Highway 395, just south of Mojave Drive near the Frida’s Mexican Food stand. The car ended up pinned underneath the back of the semi-truck.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed the two trapped occupants of the Toyota from the wreckage.
The female driver sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter flew her to a trauma center, where officials listed her in critical condition.
A ground ambulance rushed the passenger, a woman, to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The operator of the big rig ended up unharmed.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, officers forced the northbound lanes of Highway 395 to shut down for several hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Victorville big rig crash is still under investigation.
