1 Airlifted After Collision on Stoddard Wells Road Near 15 Freeway Monday
Victorville, CA (August 9, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Stoddard Wells Road and Interstate 15.
The crash took place Monday at about 3:26 p.m.
According to the Victor Valley News Group, a white sedan and an 18-wheeler big rig collided at the Victorville intersection. The force from the impact left the car pinned underneath the trailer of the 2014 International TranStar 8600.

Responding firefighters worked extensively to pull out the driver of the white 2021 Hyundai Sonata. Following the successful extrication, a helicopter airlifted the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the truck driver involved in the cash.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car and truck accident on Stoddard Wells Road in Victorville happened.
