Driver Killed in Rollover Collision on Monte Vista Road Saturday
Victorville, CA (July 4, 2021) – At least one person died following a car crash that occurred on Monte Vista Road on July 3, Saturday.
According to Victor Valley News Group, a rollover crash took place in Victorville at about 11:28 p.m. The Victorville City Public Works responded to assist with the full closure of Monte Vista Road.
While the investigation process was ongoing, a 2012 Ford sedan heading north on Monte Vista Road failed to stop for the road closure. Officials said the vehicle drove through barricades and collided into a city truck.

The force from the impact resulted in severe injuries to the driver of the Ford. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the unfortunate event.
