2 Injured in Victorville Crash at Bear Valley and Jacaranda Roads

VICTORVILLE, CA (March 11, 2023) – Two were hospitalized after a DUI crash at Bear Valley and Jacaranda roads in Victorville.

According to an article published by the KTLA News, the accident took place last week on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck on March 1 at around 6:50 p.m.

The incident happened when a white Kia Optima slammed into a red Ford Explorer in Victorville. The two cars crashed at the intersection of Bear Valley and Jacaranda roads.

Deputies said both vehicles obtained major damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt.

Drunk Driver Hits Another Car

Medical personnel rushed both victims to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials described them as a 62-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman riding the Ford.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the female driver of the Kia did not stop to render aid and fled the area.

Deputies located her and determined she was under the influence of alcohol when she hit the other car. They soon arrested the woman for felony DUI causing bodily injury and hit-and-run with injuries.

Officers forced the corner of Bear Valley and Jacaranda roads to shut down following the wreck. The Victorville DUI crash is still under investigation.
