1 Killed in Victorville Crash Near Amargosa Road and Mesa Street
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 4, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person near Amargosa Road and Mesa Street in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 5 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Victorville. One t-boned the other near the intersection of Amargosa Road and Mesa Street.
2 Cars Collide
Police described the cars as a black 2007 Toyota Corolla and a maroon sedan. The Toyota rolled onto its side and obtained extensive driver-side damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced an occupant of the Corolla dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Amargosa Road and Mesa Street to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Victorville crash is still under investigation.
