At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Nevada Avenue
Victorville, CA (August 7, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on Air Expressway Sunday afternoon, the KTLA News reported.
Officials said multiple vehicles collided on Air Expressway around 5 p.m. Our sources indicated the wreck involved a 2007 Toyota Corolla, a Chevrolet Silverado, Kia Soul, and a Volkswagen Jetta.
According to the article published online, the driver of the Toyota attempted to pass another vehicle. When the Toyota veered into the opposite lane, it ended up crashing head-on into the Chevrolet and Kia.
The force from the impact caused the Toyota and Chevrolet to burst into flames. Authorities added the Kia rolled over multiple times and struck a Volkswagen near Nevada Avenue.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to a 25-year-old male but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

Meanwhile, two others parties sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Medical personnel transported a 50-year-old man, and a 46-year-old woman to a local hospital for further treatment.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on Air Expressway in Victorville.
