1 Killed, 1 Injured in Victorville Crash Near Village Drive and Air Expressway
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 2, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another near Village Drive and Air Expressway in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident occurred on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:47 p.m.
The sheriff’s department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Victorville. They crashed near the intersection of Village Drive and Air Expressway.
2 Vehicles Collide in Victorville
One of the cars involved rolled over and then burst into flames upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one individual dead at the scene.
A helicopter took another patient to the Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the area of Village Drive and Air Expressway to shut down in both directions following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Victorville crash is still under investigation.
