Pedestrian Killed in Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road Near College
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 9, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian on Bear Valley Road near a college in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident took place early Tuesday. Officers reported the collision at about 3:46 a.m.
The incident happened when a white pickup truck hit the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Victorville. The car hit the person in the 18200 block of Bear Valley Road in front of Victor Valley College.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the site, just west of Jacaranda Avenue. They then found the victim down on the ground as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the person dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, deputies said the driver apparently stopped and stayed after hitting the victim. The pickup truck obtained front-end damage due to the impact of the collision.
Officers forced a stretch of Bear Valley Road to shut down for a time near the college following the incident. The cause of the fatal Victorville pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
