San Bernardino County Personal Injury Lawyer
Most traffic accidents which involve a motorist who flees the scene can be subjected to serious criminal charges, especially when a particular crash causes injuries to another person. Such circumstances are likely considered as “felony hit-and-run,” leaving the victim a legal right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault individual.
Drivers who are involved in car collisions are obliged to stop and provide assistance to the injured individuals and to cooperate with the authorities. In this case, the driver of the Hyundai Accent fled on foot following the wreck. The victims, a woman riding the Hyundai and a man in the Nissan, may be entitled to a compensation for all the hospital bills, future medical needs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
