VICTORVILLE, California (July 30, 2016) – Four juveniles were seriously injured after an off-road accident Friday afternoon in the area of Verbena and Mono roads, according to Victor Valley News.
The solo-vehicle collision took place about 4:30 p.m. near the California Aqueduct.
As per the article, the juveniles were off-roading when they appeared to have tried making a jump in an Arctic Cat Wildcat side by side.
The roll cage on the side by side was entirely wrecked and the wheels were broken. The vehicle left a large divot in the rock hard dirt following the crash.
Three of the victims were reported to have been critical and the fourth as delayed. Two air ambulances were requested to transport three patients to trauma hospitals for treatment.
One person was flown to Desert Valley Hospital due to the complications with his airway. The names and conditions of the juveniles at this time were not available.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
