Motorcyclist Critically injured in Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road Near Balsam
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 5, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash on Bear Valley Road near Balsam Avenue in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:22 p.m.
The incident happened on June 2 when the rider of a street bike and a black Toyota Corolla collided for an unknown reason in Victorville.
The two crashed on Bear Valley Road, just west of Balsam Avenue. Witnesses told police that the motorcyclist ended up pinned underneath the car upon impact.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the rider who sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance then took the patient to the Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the unharmed driver of the sedan stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. The cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the westbound lanes of Bear Valley to shut down near Balsam after the incident.
