Motorcyclist Killed, Another Hurt in Crash at Rodeo and Lariat
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 25, 2022) — A deadly, Victorville motorcycle crash happened Thursday night at Rodeo Drive and Lariat Road.
The fatal Victorville crash happened just before 8:00 pm, on March 24, 2022, across from the Rodeo Village Apartments, according to Victor Valley News.
Authorities closed down a stretch of Rodeo Drive after the crash involving two motorcyclists and a pickup truck.
The driver in a 2017 Dodge Durango pickup truck collided with two motorcycles due to unknown circumstances.
Victorville City fire responded to the crash scene and confirmed the death of one motorcyclist upon their arrival. Meanwhile, a second person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. Paramedics transported that person by ambulance to a local hospital.
Finally, there was a hard-road closure made on Rodeo Drive to allow deputies from the Major Accident Investigation Team to investigate the circumstances.
