Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Car Accident near Victorville Intersection

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 11, 2025) – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured following a crash with another motorist Saturday on Bear Valley Road in Victorville.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 1:11 p.m. on March 8th, according to Victor Valley News Group.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision in the westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road, just west of Amethyst Road.

The black motorcycle and a silver sedan collided near the entrance of the Del Taco restaurant, the report said.

Paramedics responded and rushed the injured rider to a local hospital where the person was boarded onto a Mercy Air helicopter and transferred to a trauma center due to major injuries.

The driver in the silver sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the roadway and westbound lanes were closed to traffic to allow police to conduct an investigation.

The Victorville Police Department will determine liability for the collision.
