Boy, 16, Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Topaz Road and Arvila Drive Wednesday
Victorville, CA (August 11, 2021) – A 16-year-old boy suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Topaz Road and Arvila Drive Wednesday morning.
The Victor Valley News Group reported the juvenile ran into the streets of Victorville for an unknown reason. Officials said the boy walked between cars that were stopped in the roadway leaving Cobalt Institute of Math and Science School. In the process, an oncoming Ford pickup truck hit the boy.

According to the article published online, the force from the impact resulted in injuries to the juvenile. Responding paramedics transported the patient to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries; including body aches and redness to his arm. The boy stayed at the hospital for further evaluation.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate liability in the pedestrian accident at Topaz Road and Arvila Drive.
