Pedestrian Injured in Victorville Crash on Hook Boulevard Near Amargosa Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (April 5, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Hook Boulevard near Amargosa Road in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the collision on April 4 at about 8:31 p.m.
Victorville police said a black 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The car hit him on Hook Boulevard near Amargosa Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, near the entrance to the Stater Brothers shopping center. They found the man down in the westbound lanes of Hook.
An air ambulance took him to a trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. Officers forced Hook Boulevard to shut down near Amargosa following the incident.
The cause of the Victorville pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
