Pedestrian Injured in Victorville Crash on Seventh Street Near C and D Streets

VICTORVILLE, CA (March 31, 2023) – A pedestrian was airlifted after a crash on Seventh Street near D Street in Victorville.

According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the collision on March 30 at about 9:38 p.m.

The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in old town Victorville. The driver hit the person on Seventh Street between C and D streets.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 76 gas station. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the accident.

A ground ambulance rushed the wounded party to the helipad at the Victor Valley Global Medical Center. An air ambulance then flew the patient to the Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The report did not disclose the name of the victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the collision.

Officers forced southbound Seventh Street to shut down between C and D streets after the incident. The cause of the Victorville pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
