2 Hospitalized; Rollover Crash in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Two people were injured Sunday night in a solo-vehicle rollover crash on Amargosa Road.
The crash took place at about 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 10. The vehicle crashed in front of the Red Lobster Restaurant in Victorville.
The driver of the 2004 Volkswagen Beetle reportedly lost control and then crashed through a chain linked fence before it overturned.
The Volkswagen landed on its roof in a drainage ditch near the Interstate 15 Freeway.
San Bernardino County Firefighters rushed to the scene to help two occupants who were trapped in the vehicle.
They transported two people by ground ambulances to hospitals, one went to a trauma center down the hill due to more serious injuries.
Victorville police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine what factors contributed to it.
