Bicyclist, 16, Injured in Victorville Crash at Bear Valley Road and 11th Avenue
VICTORVILLE (May 22, 2020) – A teenage bicyclist was flown after a traffic collision in the area of Bear Valley Road and 11th Avenue on Friday evening.
According to an article published by Victor Valley News, the accident took place at about 6:54 p.m.
Officers said for an unknown reason a Toyota minivan struck a 16-year-old boy riding a black bicycle at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Eleventh Avenue.
The minivan came to a stop in the westbound lanes. The bike ended up underneath the front bumper of the vehicle following the crash.

Victorville City Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the teen rider suffering from unspecified injuries upon impact.
An air ambulance took the victim to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. The condition of the wounded patient was not released.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the van stayed at the site and cooperated with the officers. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
