Teen Injured in Victorville Car Accident at Circle Drive and 7th Street
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2019) — A 19-year-old was critically injured Wednesday after becoming trapped in a vehicle following a two-vehicle collision at Circle Drive and 7th Street.
The car accident was reported at 8:13 pm near Winchell’s Donuts.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to rescue the trapped teenager who was in a white 1997 Volkswagen Jetta. The injured teen was subsequently airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The driver of a silver Nissan Xterra SUV that collided with the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries.
Police closed down 7th Street between Tatum Road and Lacy Street to investigate the cause of the collision.
