1 Injured in View Park Hit-and-Run Crash at Angeles Vista and Mullen
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 16, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Angeles Vista Boulevard and Mullen Avenue in View Park.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place late Thursday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 11:25 p.m.
The incident happened when a blue Kia SUV slammed into a gray Ford Fusion for an unknown reason in the View Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The two crashed at the intersection of Angeles Vista Boulevard and Mullen Avenue. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
2 Cars Collide
Medical personnel found an occupant of the Ford who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the Kia did not stop to help and fled northbound on Angeles Vista.
They added that the SUV obtained damage to its right side. Officers forced the corner of Angeles Vista and Mullen to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the View Park hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
