Highway 138 Pedestrian Accident in Pearblossom
PEARBLOSSOM, Calif. (July 20, 2018) – A 52-year-old man identified as Vincent Caylor was struck and killed Tuesday night as he attempted to cross state Route 138 at 126th Street East, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.
The collision took place about 9 p.m. on July 17th.
Sadly, Mr. Caylor was pronounced dead at the scene. The pedestrian accident was reported around 9 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The man had been walking in a northbound direction across the highway when he was struck by a 2007 Toyota Corolla that was heading westbound.
The driver, 47-year-old Daniel Fernandez of Lancaster, stopped and cooperated with authorities. Fernandez and his three adult passengers did not suffer any injuries.
Traffic Accident Investigation
At this time, police are reviewing the circumstances to determine fault.
