Man Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles on Olive Drive
Bakersfield, CA (September 23, 2022) – Vincent Ortiz Hernandez, a 62-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Olive Drive.
According to KGET News, multiple vehicles struck an individual in the 11800 block of Olive Drive. The exact number of cars involved in the wreck; and their make and model have not been revealed thus far.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield
Earlier reports indicated the collision resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. Despite life-saving measures performed by responding paramedics, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s office later identified the deceased as Vincent Ortiz Hernandez.
The catastrophic incident took place on September 16 shortly after 11 p.m. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident that happened on Olive Drive in northwest Bakersfield.
