Vincent Nelson, 34, Injured in Fresno County Crash at Clarkson and Bethel
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 25, 2022) – A fatal crash at Clarkson and Bethel avenues left Vincent Nelson injured in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 34-year-old man as the victim of the wreck which took place on Thursday.
The incident happened when Vincent Nelson was driving a Chevrolet Silverado east on Clarkson Avenue, approaching Bethel Avenue, in Fresno County.
At the same time, a Ford Fusion was going south on Bethel. Its driver, 50-year-old Fresno resident Manuel Molina, failed to stop for the stop sign for an unknown reason.

CHP said the Ford then went into the path of the pickup truck. In the process, the Chevrolet collided with the passenger side of the Fusion.
The Ford spun out-of-control and slammed into a concrete barrier and utility pole. The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley wrote that the accident occurred on June 23 at about 11:10 a.m.
Vincent Nelson sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics rushed Manuel Molina to the Selma Hospital, where he soon died.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Clarkson and Bethel avenues to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
