2 Dead, 1 Injured in Visalia Car Accident
VISALIA, Calif. (March 16, 2023) – Two people were killed in crash Wednesday afternoon at Demaree Street, just south of West La Vida Avenue in Visalia.
The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. on March 15th, according to the Visalia Police Department.
Authorities report a black GMC pickup truck was heading northbound on Demaree Street when for unknown reasons it veered into the southbound lanes, Your Central Valley reports. That’s when the pickup truck crashed into a black Cadillac sedan, police said.
Sadly, both the driver and passenger from the Cadillac suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the injured man driving the truck to a local hospital.
The age, gender and identity of the two people who died was not released, pending notification of their next of kin.
