Major Injury Collision at Avenue 256 and Road 140 Sunday
Visalia, CA (August 29, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred in the area of Avenue 256 and Road 140 Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., a vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled onto the orchard at the Visalia intersection.
First responders reportedly found at least one person with major injuries. An ambulance was later requested at the scene, possibly to transported the patient to a hospital for treatment. Authorities continue to withhold the name and age of the victim pending confirmation.

The CHP log mentioned witnesses saw a woman walking away from the disabled car. Additional information on the possible hit-and-run suspect remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident at Avenue 256 and Road 140.
