Major Injury Collision at Highways 198 and 99 Sunday
Visalia, CA (November 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 198 and 99.
On November 21, Sunday, a solo-vehicle crashed on the highway in Visalia. Officials said a white Chevrolet Trailblazer overturned for an unknown reason, and rolled off the traffic lanes.
The CHP logged the incident at about 12:19 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the vehicle landed on its wheels. Authorities mentioned both the driver and passenger were trapped in the disabled Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Driver, Passenger Trapped After Car Crash at State Route 198 and 99 in Visalia
Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to extricate the two victims. After they pulled out the two parties, paramedics immediately checked their physical condition. Our sources confirmed one person or both suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Per CHP dispatch, detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate exactly how and why the car accident at State Route 198 and 99 in Visalia happened.
