3 Injured in Visalia Car Crash at Avenue 248 and Road 140

VISALIA (November 14, 2017) – A traffic collision left three people injured in the area of Avenue 248 and Road 140 Tuesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.

The accident took place shortly after 4 p.m.

As per the report log, for an unknown reason a black SUV and a yellow Ford Ranger pickup truck collided on Avenue 248 at Road 140.

Sheriff’s officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and reported that an occupant was found inside one of the cars involved following the crash. It was not specified in the dispatch if the person was trapped in the wreckage upon impact.

CHP affirmed that a total of three parties in the pickup were hurt in the incident. The extent of the injuries they sustained and their names were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
