Driver, Passenger Killed in Fiery Collision at Walnut and Linwood Avenue Saturday
Visalia, CA (May 29, 2021) – Two people died following a traffic accident in the area of Walnut and Linwood Avenue early Saturday.
The Memorial Day crash took place at about 1 a.m.
According to ABC30 News, a white Infiniti car was seen traveling at a high rate of speed along the Visalia avenue. When the vehicle approached the intersection at Walnut and Linwood, it veered off the roadway; and eventually slammed into a power pole.
Our sources indicated the car burst into flames after the collision.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the driver and passenger unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the two victims but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased parties remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time the precise cause of the fatal car accident in Visalia.
