Motorcyclist, 21, Killed in Visalia Crash at Avenue 309 and Highway 216
VISALIA (May 30, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Avenue 309 and Highway 216 Thursday morning.
California Highway Patrol said a 21-year-old Visalia man was riding a motorcycle west when he collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Avenue 309 and Highway 216.
The car was making a left turn onto eastbound Highway 216 when the accident took place at around 7:15 a.m. near Cutler Park.

According to The Fresno Bee, the rider was ejected from his bike and suffered major injuries as a result of the crash. He was rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, but died while being transported.
The name of the deceased motorcyclist has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile CHP affirmed that the driver of the truck, Visalia resident Mary Taylor, allegedly violated the right of way of the motorcycle during her left turn. The incident remains under investigation.
