Woman Killed in Visalia Fatal Hit-and-Run at Noble Avenue and Dollner Street

VISALIA, CA (August 12, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash at Noble Avenue and Dollner Street in Visalia.

The Visalia Times Delta and FOX 26 News wrote that the tragic accident took place early Thursday. Officers reported the incident at around 2:25 a.m.

Visalia police said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit her at the intersection of Noble Avenue and Dollner Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the crash site between Redwood and Mt. Whitney high schools. They found the woman left suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the woman and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Noble and Dollner to shut down for hours following the collision.
